the course of 24 hours, especially in people with a

ABSTRACT: Several domestically produced ferrite materials were investigated for their,
suitability for use in parametrons. In addition, a measuring scheme for the
simultaneous determination of all the magnetic properties of parametrons was developed
(see Fig. 1). A discussion (including the pertinent 'ma-thematio equations) of the
desired properties of parametrone and the experimental quality criteria for the.latter
is presented. It was found that the domesticallyproduced ferrites-are unsuitable for
construction of parametrons and it is concluded that a specialferrits technology must
be developed for the production of ferrite materials which Will, give high q%ality
ferrites suitable for oonstruction of perametrons.

ABSTRACT: Basic rela tions are derived for inducti ve parametrons, and the following
difficulties are noted in-utilizing bistable parametrons: 1) 3-4 parametrons are
required for a single,trligger,.2) a one-cycle delay because the bistable parametrans
are related to synchronous elements, and 3) st-able.C-har.acterist'ics.are rigidli
manded as a result of which the number of inputs must be limited to'3-4. Most of die,
above, shortcomings can be eliminated by using parametrons operating under the rigid
conditions to represent O's and I's. It i
s also noted that the possibility of using
a trisEable parametron depends not only on the presence of a stable point bu Italso
,I on a-simple and reliable control of its state. Methods of controlling the state of a
tristable parametron are described. TrisLable parametrons are studied at excitation
frequencies extending fr9m.1 kc into Mc units;.they require 10-20 mw at 0-100 kc, I

ABSTRACT: The functional circuit of a data readout device in described, including its
basic elements, their designations as well as-requirements imposed on,them. It is,
shown that the control of electroluminescent data display devices requires a lerge
number of memory elements. The possibility of using inductive'parametrons for this
I-puIrpose is indicated. A preference is expressed for a tristabl.e parametron. The
amplitude of-steady-state current is determined as a function of the basic parametron
,parameters. A control circuit is.presented consisting of eight tristable parametrons.
