(1) The aircraft represent part of the aircraft strength in Finsterwalde. One bomber regiment equipped with about 35 PE-2s is believed to be _ stationed in Finsterwalde. The headquarters of a bomber division whose regiments are stationed at the airfields of Finsterwalde and Cottbus, is also there. (2) Probably B-25s. To date, this type has not been seen in Finsterwalde. Another source observed aircraft of this type among the bomber regiments now stationed at the Jueterbog-Altes Lager airfield. (3) The correctness of this information cannot be verified for lack of com- la.rable data. (1) These motor vehicle numbers were seen previously in Finsterwalde by other sources. They belong to ground units of the bomber regiment and the headquarters units stationed at the Finsterwalde airfield. Approved For Release 1999/09/09 : CIA-RDP82-00457R007400530005-1
