Leitha niver (P 49/1 77) and in -Jiencr Neustadt (0 48/1 34)
was obtained:
1, Bruck on the Leitha itiver:
a. No traffic was observed on the road to the wood camp,
SE of the railroad station, on 3 January 1950.
b. - io activity was observed at the officers' billets
along the eastern border of the camp.

the railroad station on the northern border of the wood
camp. Guard personnel observed there wore red-bordered
black epaulets.
d. There was little military traffic in the streets of
the town.

30 January 1950, noticeably more noavilvoeounied than ob?-'.
served before. :'oviet soldiers -were seen in all windows
of the kaserne durinf, noon hours. The capacity of the
kaserne is estimated at 500 troops.
b. about 100 soldiers wearing red-bordered, black epaulets
held drill practice in the kaserne yard.
