Four Jet planes with swept-back wings were parked on the eastern and of the runway at the Alt Loennewitz (N 52/E 84) airfield. Forty-tvwo aircraft were counted in front of the hangars at the northwestern corner of the field. Some of the planes, painted blue,, were presumably Jet planes , the others were a darker color and had propellers. There was no flying between 900 a-,mv and 5:30 p0m, , although the weather was favorable. The doors of the six hangars on the northern edge of the field were closed?* 25X1 25X1 900 NCOs and Lt:v were stationed at the field. The numbe roof officers assigned to the air base company was not stated, DATE PREPARED, in addition to the air base 3. A horizontal fuel tank was seen in the southwestern section of the field a where excavation work was observed some weeks ago. There were no AAt1 emplacements.
