REMARK
l.. Four Jet planes with swept-back wings were parked on the
eastern and of the runway at the Alt Loennewitz (N 52/E 84)
airfield. Forty-tvwo aircraft were counted in front of
the hangars at the northwestern corner of the field.
Some of the planes, painted blue,, were presumably Jet planes
,
the others were a darker color and had propellers. There was
no flying between 900 a-,mv and 5:30 p0m, , although the
weather was favorable. The doors of the six hangars on the
northern edge of the field were closed?*
