Approved For RJse 2005/08/02 : CIA-RDP85-00988R100100099-3 16 SEP 198O MEMORANDUM FOR: Chief, Logistics Services Division FROM: a~ie , Plans and Programs Staff, OL SUBJECT: Maximum Tire Pressure REFERENCE: Memorandum for the Heads of Executive Agencies and Establishments from GSA, dtd August 15, 1980, same subject (ER 80-5051; DDA 80-1976; OL 0 3995) 1. Referenced memorandum recommends that tire pressure be increased to maximum pressure in order to achieve a further reduction in fuel consumption. 2. Attached for your concurrence is a draft Headquarters Notice advising employees that the Motor Pool has adopted the policy of inflating tires to maximum pressure and encouraging individuals to adopt a similar policy. 3. GSA has advised that they will make sunvisor sleeves available listing the five major precepts of Driver Energy Con- servation Awareness Training.
