Dear George:
STAT I am writing this letter to
call your attention to
STAT I l of Brookline, N. ., who has
recently applied for a job at your
recruitment office in Boston.
STAT has served with the
Army in Vietnam for the past year in
various positions, particularly in
the Delta. He came to my attention
before he went over because he tried
to learn something about the country.
As you know, that is rare. He and I
have kept in touch since his return,
and I know he has kept up his interest.
I cannot vouch for his general
qualifications, since I do not know
him well enough and do not know what
your people want. But if you need
somebody with knowledge and interest
in your particular shop, I suggest
your looking at his file.

forward to seeing you.
