Dear. Mr. Blakey:
Reference is made to your letter of 6 July and
the request in paragraph 12 for "a list of all
series project files..." The series -requested encom-
passes nearly 200 projects, with an unknown number of
file folders. It is estimated that it would require
six persons a minimum of one week just to inventory
the files. In any event, the subject matter of the
various files would involve a range of operational
activity and interest outside the charter of your
Committee.
Because of the magnitude of the work required to
even compile A l. t, it is suggested that your
investigators refine their request by indicating
particular interests that should be covered.
