An ammunition depot was located rest of NOG M) 48/if 57) (see
Annex). The depot area was surroufided by a barbed-wire Fenceg
and was well oamouflaged by woods,, There were about 3 araunition
houses witjn tarpaper-covered roofs,, The 1NOGRAD_SZOK0 A road,
which led past the depot, was closed to civil-Ian traffic?
2. The depot was used by Soviet troops u Irad1viduai trucks Ware
o'ten seen entering or leaving the de?not area up to August
1949, Convoys were not seen recently,
3. The depot guard personnel was estit ated. at 60.
4, The a?;imunition de-yot had been built in 2} 39 $ and was used for
storage of German aircraft bombs during the war. The boviots
took it over after the ware
