SUBJECT Request to Travel to Ft. Leavenworth
1. The Command and General Staff College at Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas,
has requested that I come out and address one of their classes on develop-
ments in the Horn and southern Africa. The only drawback, however, is that
they are re uestin that the Agency fund the trip. Nevertheless, I think,
STATINTL and agrees, that the visit has merit, and
probably should be
considered favorably.
2. If the visit is approved, it would probably have to be rescheduled for
10 May, an alternate date, as I expect to be in Africa in late January
and early February.
