The Section recently obtained several new low cost cameras for
use in the Graphics Procurement Program. The use of this lower cost
equipment is part of a program to evaluate the use of the Instamatic
fully automatic type cameras by Agency travellers who have little
interest and experience in photography.
Recruiting efforts are underway to obtain a replacement for
one of the Agency Photographers who recently left to accept a
position with Navy.
Pictorial Services Branch reviewed its requirements for service
from PSD, in an attempt to estimate changes resulting from new
selection criteria and service requirements stemming from the CRS
reorganization,
