In May 1961, criteria was established with regard to procurement
of electric typewriters for CS components (Hqs and Field).
Because of the necessity to microfilm and photograph documents,
it was determined that the typewriters used by DD/P should have
a particular type style and carbon paper ribbon feed. SSA was
required to perform a technical review of all requisitions and
STATINTL approve same. At that time "requisition
register" (handwritten). time., 0 prepared a requisition
