(1) A statement of the status of technology as evidenced by
USSR accomplishments and literature;
(2) A general discussion of any plan and plan fulfillment data
that may be available;
(3) A general statement of volume of output and the share of
total production which would be exnected to be absorbed by non.atomic energy
part of the economy.
b. ?mcific Economic Data
In addition to the above minimum, the following items should be
presented as fully as data and research time permit.
(1) Estimates of total annual production between 196660? If
available, include regional distribution of the centers of production?
Estimates may be in physical terms, value terms or a combination of both.
(2) Estimates of the use pattern of the commodity by principle
aonsumers. If possible apply to the years 1946, 1950, 1953, 1955 and 19600
A regional USD pattern should be prepared if possible?
(3) Estimates of quantities of commodities going to atomic energy
installations or consumers.
CO Qualitative evaluation of the impact of the principal atomic
energy uses (as discussed in (3) above) upon the major suppliers of the com?
modities.

Specific terms of reference for industrial manpower, regional
analysis of electric power and financial analysis cannot be prepared at this
time. Following detailed discussions with the responsible analysts specific
terms will be established?
3. In order to insure consistency of approach and to provide specific
guidance and coordination, the various commodities to be studied will be
divided into two groups with a nroject analyst for each group. Questions
as to the substance to be included should be directed to the responsible
analyst.

gence reseaTch conducted within. ERA in. support of the referenced

viding a central.. point of control within ERA for icc ary contacts
