This course traces the beginnings of inteili-?
Bence and espionage from antiquity to date
in order to form a perspective from which to
understand the working nature and tradecraft
of the intelligence/espionage agent. Spies
have always been of interest and in recent
month's have been front page copy. Provides
an opportunity to examine ci rrent theory and
craft covering a wide vaj:a4T of procedures
Pnd techniques. Both fore:y f and domestic
networks will he discussed. Mechanical
methods, legafs and illegals, double agents
and defectors will be included as well as
counter techniques as protective measures.
Format: lecture, discussion and guest lec-
turers.
