Connected by a rail spur to the Wu-han- -Chang- sha railroad one nm east, the complex comprises 3 separate areas (Figure 1). Area A, a housing area, contains 55 family apartment-type buildings , 6 large storage buildings (21,000 sq ft total roof area), one probable mess hall, and 8 small storage/ support buildings.
