SEARCH FOR SSM LAUNCH SITS AROUND
SARY SHAOA.N ANTIMISSILE TEST CENTER, USSR
A search has been accomplished on KEYHOLE photography within a 300
nautical mile radius of the T-1 impact area (4620N-7200E) near the Sary
Shagan Antimissile Test Center. The purpose of this.search was to isolate
and identify any field-type or permanent surface-to-surface missile launch
sites not previously known. This search was accomplished with negative
results, using the latest and best KEYHOLE coverage. Figure 1 illustrates
the area searched and the sections covered by each mission within the area.
The following is a listing of all previously identified missile re-
lated installations 'located within the search area exclusive of those
associated with the Sary Shagan Antimissile Test Center.
