1. On 24 June 1959,1 and I met wit 25X1
and l Ito discuss the extent to which this Agency is interested in
telling over the 17,000 cu. ft. of these records located in Kansas City.
2. It was the consensus of the group that approximately 12% of the
selected files dealing with scientists and technicians would be the
most valuable records.
3. The Biographic Register has found that the sample files that they
have borrowed from the Department of Army have proved to be valuable.
Biographic Register will see if they can get sufficient funds to screen
the 17,000 cu. ft. of files in Kansas City so that they can select the
most valuable records.
4. It was agreed that and I would contact Mr. Allen of
the Department of the Army and see if they can postpone their action on the

disposition of these records to beyond the
P. S. Telephone call to Mr. Alen, 29 June, indicates that they would
consider postponing action on the disposition of this file until
PY 1962.
