9. (Internal Use Only - JGO) In response to her call, met with
25X1 Lynn Burns, Caseworker in the office of Representative Robert Kastenmeier
(D. , Wis. ), who gave me various items of constituent correspondence
10. (Internal Use Only - JGO) Received from the House Armed
Services Committee staff, a copy of legislative and special subcommittee
assignments of the Committee. It was indicated that the organizational
meeting ran very smoothly. Representative Runnels (D. , N. M.) is
reported to have denied the story of purchase of classified information
from the Department of Defense and requested a full investigation by the
Armed Services Committee.
1.1.. (Secret - JGO) Received a call fro ontrol
Staff, DIA, who requested information on whether Representative Elford
Cederberg (R. , Mich.) has been briefed on compartmented information.
I told her Cederberg's exposure to briefings by this Agency has been
extremely limited but would anticipate that as senior Republican on the
Appropriations Committee, he would be sitting in on future sessions with
Chairman Mahon.

staff, and told him that we would be able to make available to- r
Avraham Shifrin in his testimony before the Subcom-
mittee.
