This report is one of a series of reports designed to provide
continuous detailed information on selected ground force installations
in the Soviet Union and China by the utilization o
photography.* The installations are selected from the various military
districts and regions in the Soviet Union and China and include Category
I, II, and III Combat Units, Combat Support Units, Training Areas,
Depots and Storage Areas, Test Facilities, and Production Facilities.
Installation names are derived from the DIA Bombing Encyclopedia (May
1966).
Each installation is examined for physical changes to the facilities,
changes in the level of activity, and the identification of vehicles and
equipment. For installations which do not have tactical missile equipment
listed, it can be assumed that none was observed.
All changes in facilities and vehicle/equipment type and/or count
are referenced to the most recent detailed report on the installation.
In cases where reports do not exist, the changes are referenced to the
most recent complete mission readout.
The sequence of installation listing within this report is by
country, type of target, military district or region, and alphabetically
by installation name. A report of this type will follow each Mission.
* These reports will include all targets covered oni
photography and those training areas covered on 0 pho ograp y.

This area is located on a small point of land that juts into
Chin-chou Bay. There are two large flat trajectory firing
ranges (one with moving target runs) and at least two small
subcaliber firing ranges within this area. All of the ranges
face seaward. A possible tracked-vehicle driver training area
is located approximately 2 nm WSW of the range area. The
firing ranges appear to have a medium level of activity.

Photography reveals 18 probable FA pieces and 14 U/I prime
movers located in an outdoor artillery park which is located
approximately 3.5 nm south of the firing ranges.
