SUBJECT: FY-80 RDUE Program (U)
1. (C) I want to express my thanks for your inputs to
the FY-80 RD&E Program. They will be very helpful in develop-
ing a comprehensive RD&E program. These inputs have been
forwarded to the appropriate Office Directors for their use
in responding to the problems and goals you have described. As
I indicated in my earlier memo, I expect their proposals to be
coordinated with your staffs around Thanksgiving.
2. (C) I think your inputs will allow us to make the
FY-80 program more responsive than in previous years and, with
your conti:cued cooperation, will make it even better in the
future.
