A new power plant is located southwest of the village of Komorany (N51/F12) in the angle formed by the Komoraxry Most and Komorany Erveniee railway tracks. On the north and northeast the power plant reaches to the Komorany-Ervenice railway line. The southeast boundary is marked by the Kom.orany-Chomutov railroad track. Construction data: Foundations were laid during the last war and building was resumed after the war. The first boiler was put into operation in March 1951. When completed, the power plant should have a total of 5 boilers and by 1954 all of them are supposed to be operating. The building of the power plant was carried out by the following firms: a. Energostav b. PBS (Prvni brnenska strojirna Klement Gottwald-First Brno Machinery Works) supplied high-pressure pipes and boilers and assembled them. c. V.I. Lenin Works, Pilsen (Skoda), assembled generators. d. Electrical Installation Plant, Prague (Elektromontazni zavody;Praha--EZ), engaged in fitting power-distribution points of 100 KV and 6 KV capacity and of other auxiliary distribution points. e. Electrical Installation Plant, Teplice (Elektromontazni zavody Teplice-EZ) carried out electrical. installations, fitted lines and cables. 3. Description of the Power Plant: The main building is 350 meters west of the junc- tion of the two railroad tracks, about 150 meters from the Komorany-Holesice- Chomutov line.
