suBJECr: Termination of System 2 (AS-8) Contract
1. An automatic digital transmission system, AS-8, was
developed by this Office using System 2 components. During
this development Project AQUATONE retained contract control
for security reasons. A decision has now been made by the
Office of Communications to terminate all work on this program.
2. Therefore, it is requested that the System 2 (AS-8)
contract be terminated with the contractor. It is further
requested that the contractor be asked to forward all rev ining
residual contract items. Please contact 25X1
project engineer, Extension 3152, for shipping instructions.
