On the afternoon of 26 May, we informed Defense that the DCI wanted to go ahead with the scheduled 28 May breakfast; they were told the DCI wanted to chat in general terms about DIA. Defense said fine; they said they would provide an update on the Falklands situation. 2. On the morning of 27 May, we informed Defense that a few addi- tional subjects would be discussed at the breakfast: 3.
