SUBJECT Article Assignment (IDEALIST)
1. Recent operational losses have reduced the Project
IDEALIST inventory to 7 assigned Articles. The IDEALIST
operational concept is predicated on 10 assigned Articles.
However, over the past year the Project maintained an
effective mission posture with 9 Articles.
2. Request your office initiate action-to obtain and
provide CIA with'two additional Articles that can be
configured to Project requirements and retained in its
operational inventory.
