THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION 1. In the Gdynia region the Polish Navy possessed the following radio stations: a.. ~Tel:ltkowo. station; used for communications with Warsaw. b. d'eli.tkowo station; used for communications with Oksywie. c. Oksywi_e station; used for communications with naval units at sea. d.. Redlowo station; used for communications with Hel. e. uel station; used for communications with Redlowo and Oksywie. 2. The radio station at Redlowo was in the barrack grounds of the coastal artillery battery of Redlowo and was subordinate to the commanding officer of this battery. Its calling sign. was WIR. The station used an aerial 38 m. long, placed at a height of 20 m. Its counterpart also measured 38 m. All communications were in code (groups of numbers); messages which had already been coded were always handed by the code officer to the station. The code was called T 4+5 and consisted of a code proper and a key which was changed every four or five days. each. the coastal artillery battery at Redlowol 25X1 The battery had 12 Soviet guns set up on concrete gun positions in four groups of threes. Close to the guns were underground ammunition shelters. The ammunition was passed from the shelter to the gun by hand. The command post of the battery was connected with each one of the groups by separate telephone lines.. The commanding officer's observation post had a range finder of Soviet typed-i 25X1 1. reported the existence of six 125 mm. electrically operated guns and confirms the existence of the range finder; The coastal artillery battery is supposedly commanded by Lieutenant Commander Rychel.
