S. Code Title 18, Sections 793 and 794. READY BLDGS: Two drive-through type (220' x 60'). Small structure or piece of equipment near NE ready bldg. Site Support Facility TECHNICAL SECTION: Two open storage areas and several small structures are positioned along the various interconnecting roads within the launch site. A vehicle storage and mainte- nance facility is situated between the 2 pairs of launch pads. It consists of 2 parking aprons, one bldg 190' x 90', one bldg 150' x 70', and 2 bldgs 100' x 40'. ADMINISTRATION & HOUSING SECTION: Lo- cated 1,000' NW of site. It contains 6 barracks (150' x 50') and at least 5 smaller bldgs. Rail-to-Road Transfer Point 10 nm SW of launch area. A single rail spur ad- joins a short stretch of roadway which has a loop at one end and connects with a main highway at the other. Other MRBM Activity Within 25 NM Radius Of Launch Area Taurage MRBM Complex is 6.5 nm to the NNW. Gusev MRBM Complex is 21.8 nm to the SW. It consists of 2 parallel roads along which there are several small structures and/or open storage facilities. ADMINISTRATION & HOUSING SECTION: Just SW of launch site. It contains 6 barracks (150' x 50'), 2 housing/administration bldgs (170' x 60'), and 7 smaller bldgs. A vehicle storage and maintenace facility is situated between the bar- racks and the SE pair of launch pads. It con- tains one bldg 190' x 90' and 3 bldgs 160' x 80' positioned around a rectangular parking apron. Rail-To-Road Transfer Point 6.5 nm S of launch area. A single rail spur ad- joins a short stretch of roadway which has a loop at one end and connects with a main highway at the other. Other MRBM Activity Within 25 NM Radius Of Launch Area Taurage MRBM Complex is located 7.9 nm to the NE. Gusev MRBM Complex is located 19.2 nm to the SSW. Sovetsk MRBM Complex is located 22.5 nm to the W.
