PLEXICRAFT Eliminates recording distortions inherent in ordinary paper charts!
Even the most reputable paper chart manufacturers
admit that paper is not a stable material. They are the
first to tell you that the cellulose fibre in paper will
readily absorb or release moisture. The resulting
stretching and shrinking of fibres, distorts the grid
lines, especially across the grain.
Under close atmospheric control, the paper chart maker
can reduce dimensional variations while the paper is
still in, his plant. Unfortunately, unless you duplicate
the manufacturer's atmospheric conditions, you must
accept some unknown degree of distortion.
Whatever the cost of your instrument and no matter
how responsive it is, its ultimate purpose is compro-
mised to the extent that the chart paper distorts results.
Charts made of "natural" paper have other error-pro-
ducing variables. Variations in surface texture can
cause the stylus to drag, skip or pick up fibres. Varia-
tions in suppleness can cause uneven travel through
the instrument.

PI,_FXI-TAP' 1()r) 8Y2 x ?2'-
A dry, pressure sensitive adhesive laminated between two release sheets. After
peeling off first release sheet, the second release sheet with the adhesive is
applied to the back of any material. This second release sheet is then peeled away,
leaving the artwork backed with an extremely even and transparent pressure
sensitive coating. Especially useful with PLEXI-FILM or any other material. Makes
an absolutely transparent and invisible adhesion.
