1. The first half of the ground attack regiment left Doeberitz airfield
on 26 Septerher 1955, and on the morning of 8 October, the other
half of the regiment left? No ground attack aircraft were seen
at the airfield. Puilding No 27, which previously housed soldiers
of the regiment, was unoccupied. The radio truck, which forz::erly
was parked near Puildings Nos 19 and 13, was no longer observed.
The troop departures were not seen but it was presur:ed that the
personnel departed in the late afternoon of 17 Cctober. It was
learned from at the Kaserne, that the regiment
was transferred to an airfield near Frandenhurg., 1 25X1
2. Cn 13 October, about 13C recruits with close-cropped hair, about
20 years old, arrived at Pichthcfen.-Kaserne and were billeteri in
the rooms of wilding No 16, which had formerly been occupied by
the unit, under the command of Lajor Polikov (fnu) (phonetic
spelling).
No inforr.:ation could be o--tained on the chief of this new unit,
Lajor l'olikov would apparently not be the corrmanding officer of
this unit., be ause he had not been observed at the Richthofen-
Kaserne for over a week. He was said to have been transferred to
the USSR.
On the morning of 15 October, about 1OC persons left for the
USSR, Most of them belonged to the cadre personnel and included
about 10 cUNCODED.and 2 master sergeants. It was learned fror.
an artisan, that these soldiers were discharged from military
service. The dischargees were to leave iron :Mdpark railroad
station. Turing the period under review, drillin; with carbines
and athletics by about 600 to 70C men were observed. An athletic
contest was apparently being prepared, No theoretical or manual
training was observed.
3. It was observed on 15 October, that !,uilding No 86 of NSKK-Kaserne
was unoccupied. Details of the ground attack regiment were previously
quartered there, It could net -e determined, if old soldiers had
already been discharged. Groups of 3C to 50 men were observed
several times, riarchinr to and from the airfield, These soldiers
were apparently employed there at workshops and test stands,, "-

4. On 13 Cctober, no around attack aircr:,ft were observed at the
airfield. A'',out seven jet fighters were parked in the eastern
he,.ngar, in front of which two canvas-covered twin-engine jet
*_`i;;h?ers, presumably I1--2-8s, were seen. A '-out three Po-.2s were
parked at the e::stern portion of the field. AUout 2,000 cots,
including double-decked and triple-decked buds, were placed in
the western hanf*ar. :; soldier stated, thc.t these cots have been
made available for the maneuvers. About 12C tank trucks were
parked in the han,'rar, southwest of the western hangar. Both
en-pine test-stands at the Field were in operation a]ncst daily.
