Bulguksa temple, located on the slopes of Mount Toham, North Gyeongsang province, is considered a masterpiece of the golden age of Buddhist art in the Silla Kingdom (57 B.C. – A.D. 935). The temple is classified as Historic and Scenic Site No. 1 by the South Korean Government. Bulguksa was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1995. This photo is of the main entrance to the temple.
