Daereungwon Tomb Complex (Tumuli Park) in Gyeongju is a walled area containing the tombs (tumuli) of Silla Dynasty (57 B.C. – A.D. 935) monarchs and members of their families. Five tombs on these grounds are believed to include the founder of the Silla Kingdom, Bak (Park, Pak) Hyeokgeose, his queen Aryeong, and three of the next four kings of Silla. The Daereungwon Tomb Complex in the ancient Silla capital city Gyeongju provides an opportunity to walk around and even inside one of these incredible structures.
