A US Marine Corps KC-130J Hercules aircraft lands on Tinian Island’s North Field runway, 30 May 2012, during Exercise Geiger Fury 2012. The aircraft was the first to land on the runway since 1947. Runways Baker, Charlie, Dog, and the historic Able – the runway used by the B-29 Enola Gay on its mission against Hiroshima – are slated to be restored by US Marines.
