Parhelion (sundogs) and rime ice at the Upper Geyser Basin in December 2015 at Yellowstone National Park. A parhelion is an atmospheric optical phenomenon that consists of a bright spot to one or both sides of the sun; rime ice forms when supercooled liquid water droplets freeze onto surfaces.
