Atlantic Pollock (Pollachius virens), also known as Saithe, Coalfish, Coley, Green Cod, Boston Bluefish; weight – up to 15.8 kg (35 lb); length – up to 1 m (3.5 ft); lifespan – up to 23 years. Atlantic Pollock are a member of the cod family but can be distinguished by their greenish hue and darker flesh. They are brownish-green on the back and slightly pale on the belly.
