Atlantic Herring (Clupea harengus), a commercially important Atlantic Ocean fish, also known as Herring, Sea Herring, Sild, Common Herring, Labrador Herring, Sardine, Sperling; weight – 1.1 kg (2.4 lb); length – up to 35.5 cm (14 in); lifespan – up to 15 years.
