GRENADA:. Status of Airport Project
Construction of the new Point Salines International Airport is
proceeding rapidly.
Prime Minister Bishop recently
said that preparations for the opening in March 1984 are on schedule
and that'test flights could take place by late January, if not sooner.
Bishop also said Grenada is looking for additional funds to accelerate
the construction.
Comrhent .All Indications point to completion of the airport in
