The office of the Information and Privacy Coordinator has received your
undated Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request on behalf of your clients,
Mr. Richard Whalen and Ms. Brenda Brody, on 9 September 2005. Your
request is for:
"unredacted copies of all volumes of Leo (sic) Pfeifer's (sic)
report on the Bay of Pigs Investigation."
We have assigned your request the reference number above. Please use this
number when corresponding so that we can identify it easily.
We received an earlier FOIA request for Jack B. Pfeiffer's Official
History of the Bay of Pigs Operation. We will send you the same CIA-
originated records, if any are released, once that request has been completed.
Because of our backlog, I cannot say with certainty when that request will be
completed.
You will be required to pay only the cost of reproduction of any
documents that are released because the original requester is responsible for
the other fees. We will contact you again once the processing of the original
request is completed.
