28 November 2006 Reference. F-2007-00349 Dear This is in response to your 3 May 2006 letter to The Honorable Dennis Moore, House of Representatives, which was forwarded to the office of the Information and Privacy Coordinator for response. Requests such as yours are considered under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Specifically, you have requested a copy of the 9/11 CIA Report that clearly states the incompetence of US government and specifically names government officials whose criminal negligence made it possible for the terror attacks on 9/11 to occur. We assigned your request the reference number above. Please use this number when corresponding so that we can identify it easily. .We received an earlier FOIA request for the same report. We will send you the same CIA-originated record, if it is released, once that request has been completed. Your cost for any documents would be ten cents per page. Because of our backlog, I cannot say with certainty when that request will be completed. For your information, the FOIA authorizes federal agencies to collect fees for records services. However, because search and review fees are borne solely by the original requester, you are responsible only for a reproduction charge of ten cents per page beyond the first 100 pages, which are free. We will contact you again when we have completed processing the original request. Meanwhile, we appreciate your patience. Sincerely, Information and Privacy Coordinator Scott Koch
