significance to terrorists around the world. Inclusion of a date r oes not
suggest that we anticipate a commemorative terrorist even

September 1970 Palestinians. The Jordanian Allay drives Palestinian guerrillas out of the country
because of their attacks against Israel from Jordanian soil; in response Fatah estab-
lishes the Black September Organization, best known for its attack on Israeli ath-
letes at the 1972 Olympics.

3 September 1982 Peru. Death of Sendero Luminoso (SL) leader Edith Lagos.
