On 6 April the Chinese Commmniat Kirin Railway Bureau and the Kirin Provincial Government jointly issued an order to rush tha repair of the Kirin-Hailung (125-48, 42-39) railroad. Ter armored freight coaches and three locomotives have been moved from Tumen (19-49, 42-58) for use in the repair of the line. 2. The railroad between Harbin ad Kirin was completely repaired on 2 April 1948 and communication has been reiumed. Passenger trains leave Kirin at 8:30 p.m, transfer at Lafa (127-17, 43-'1), and arrive at Harbin at 12:05 the next day. 3.;4ork on a temporary railroad between Atchang (127-09: 44-55) and iushu (126-31, 44-49) was started xl 20 Earch 1948. By 30 April 1948 construction had been completed from loacMng to Hsiangyangp3o (126-53, 44-53). The reason for this railroad is to molt material from Yushu. 4.
