Under the Freedom of Information Act, 5 U.S.C. subsection 552, 1 am
requesting copies of all records on, about, or concerning foreign religious
workers in Papua. Papua is the province of Indonesia which was previously
named Irian Jaya. Limit responsive records to those created between January
1, 2001 and the date this request is processed.
Responsive records should include, but not be limited to, records on any
known missionary agency or denomination working in Papua. Additionally,
please include records where persons enter the country on non-religious
visas, but have a motive of evangelism which is known to the CIA which may
or may not be known to the Indonesian authorities.
This is a news media request, please charge fees according to the news media
fee category. I authorize up to $30 in fees.
If you deny all or any part of this request, please cite each specific
exemption you think justifies your refusal to release the information and
notify me of appeal procedures available under the law.
Records are preferred in electronic format. Email is preferred, CD is also
acceptable. Paper is only requested in a case where doing so would reduce
my fee.
