This is a final response to your undated (postmarked 4 October 2010) Freedom of
Information Act (FOIA) request, received in the office of the Information and Privacy
Coordinator on 13 October 2010, for "an index, catalog or log of all organizations
which the CIA's Political Islam Strategic Analysis Program (PISAP) has any threat
assessments, reports, or other intelligence collected on."
We have completed a thorough review of your request and have determined that
our record systems are not configured in a way that would allow us to perform a search
reasonably calculated to lead to responsive records without an unreasonable effort. The
FOIA does not require federal agencies to perform research, create records or conduct
unreasonable searches through a body of material to see if any of it is related to a particular
request. Therefore, we must decline to process your request.
