Dear Mr. Chairman:
(C) Consistent with section 21 of the Central Intelligence
Agency Act of 1949 (50 U.S.C. 403u), the purpose of this letter
is to notify you of our request to the Office of Management and
Budget (OMB) concerning the expenditure of of Central (W(1)
Services Working Capital Fund (WCF) fees. (b)(3)
(C) Section 21 of the Act requires CIA to request the prior
approval of the Director of OMB to expend amounts attributable
to the fees collected as part of the operation of the WCF. CIA
intends to spend approximately in fee proceeds for the (W(1)
acquisition of a replacement bus for shuttle and charter (b)(3)
operations, and for printing and reproductive equipment for the
Agency's imaging and printing needs. These assets will belong to
the Agency's central service providers and will be accounted for
as part of the WCF.
(U) Originals of this letter also are being sent to
the Ranking Democratic Member of the House Permanent Select
Committee on Intelligence and the Chairman and Vice Chairman of
the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.
