General. This Notice establishes DI responsibilities and procedures to keep the intelligence committees--HPSCI and SSCI--fully and currently informed of DI activities. This includes the responsibility to report significant anticipated intelligence activities, significant intelligence failures, and illegal intelligence activities pursuant to law and Agency policies set forth in AR 7-2, Reporting of Intelligence Activities to Congress. This Notice also provides for keeping other committees of Congress appropriately informed of DI activities, as well as for internal management review of other sensitive or significant DI activities, including activities on the threshold for meeting congressional notification requirements. 4.04.1;6141)- H. DI activities will be reported if they reflect activity believed, after appropriate internal review, to be a probable violation of the Constitution or laws, including Executive orders, of the US. 1,41Lrelier D. Continuing Obligations. Regardless of whether an activity falls into one of the preceding categories, DI officers are expected to be alert to the Agency's continuing obligation to keep the intelligence committees fully and currently informed of all Agency intelligence activities, and to ensure that management is informed of CIA activities that may warrant special or continuing notification to Congress for other reasons. Such activities include: 1.
