After less than two hours' debate today on the Pueblo crisis, the UN Security Council adjourned until Monday to permit delegates to consult privately on how to proceed further in their handling of the problem. 3. Activity along the DMZ was at a normal level through the morning of the 27th. There were several firefights, personnel and vehicle sightings, harass- ments, and one assault by North Korean infiltrators against US and ROK forces. One US soldier of the 2nd Infantry Division was killed when his position was fired upon by a single intruder. One North Korean, probably an agent, was killed in the ROK 25th Division area--in the eastern part of the DMZ--when discovered hiding in a cave containing a cache of agent supplies. Another North Korean was round dead during reconnais- sance by US forces in the US First Corps area, in the western part of the DMZ.
