The topic for discussion in the meeting of 18 July was "'he Coal

to do so for many years . Reserves of coal are believed to be rather
large but the problem of estimating reserves is very complex and
estimates are quite tenuous. Geological surveys have been extensive
but there is still the possibility of new discoveries.
