25X1 A SUBJECT : 0- IIS - Project Status Report
1. The attached report reflects the status of the - IIS project
a/o the date indicated in the report heading. A cursor line equating
to the a/o date is simulated by a row of periods (.) appearing on each
task line under the appropriate week of the calendar reference reflected
in the columnar heading line.
2. Estimated start and Completion Dates are shown for each task
expressed in.ymmdd (year-month-day) format. A graphic portrayal of each
task is also displayed appropriately scaled with an "S" for start and an
"E" for estimated completion date, connected by a row of record marks
to bracket the duration of the project item.
3. As Actual Completion dates occur, they will be appropriately
recorded and appear under the report column titled "ACTUAL," and the
graphic portrayal will reflect an "A," position-scaled to agree with
the actual completion date. (Also, a "C" will appear at the extreme
right under the column heading "FLAG," to indicate project item com-
pletion.)
4. If a project completion date is not recorded within the time
frame estimated (i.e.,the a/o date of report is greater than the
estimated completion date of project item), a late indicator "L" will
appear under the "FLAG" column of the report.
5. As a convenience for project monitors, items which will become
due during the current week of the report are flagged with an asterisk
(*) under the "FLAG" column of the report. This is to invite attention
to project items still in work--not yet late--but which should be checked
to ensure on-time completion.
6. The FLAG column is also used to key appropriate comments
appearing at the end of the report to specific project items flagged
above.
7. At the end of the report, two summary lines recap the over-
all project status. It should be noted that "Completed M-Months" of

completed. No attempt is made :to accumulate completed man-months on an
accrual basis during the period of project fulfillment. Conversely,
however, the month's completed field (on the second summary line) repre-
sents time elapsed (in months and tenths) from over-all project start
date to the a/o date of the report.
