The Iluang-pu Naval Base a small steel plant are under construction along the eastern edge of the base. Approx- imately 33 buildings have been removed and 35 buildings constructed during the period ofr' _ comparative coverage is located approximately 9 nautical miles east-southeast of Kuang-chou *(Canton), on Iluang-pu Tao (Island) facing the Chu Chiang (River).
