1. SIGNIFICANCE:
THIS BRIEFING BOARD DEPICTS BOMB DAMAGE AT PHU THO RAILROAD YARD.
2. LOCATION:
PHU THO RAILROAD YARD IS LOCATED ON THE NORTHERN EDGE OF PHU THO
ON THE HA NOI~LAO CAI RAIL LINE.
3. MISSION READOUT:
OF THREE PARALLEL TRACKS, WITH A CHOKE POINT AT EACH END, AND A
PASSENGER TERMINAL. THIRTEEN RAILROAD CARS ARE OBSERVED IN THE YARD
(SIX OF WHICH ARE DAMAGED pR DESTROYED), THE WEST END OF THE TERMINAL
BUILDING IS DAMAGED AND AT LEAST THIRTY-FIVE BOMB CRATERS ARE NOTED
IN THE RAILROAD YARD AND IN THE va?tD AREA, THE PHU THO RAILROAD BRIDGE
