There was also sporadic artillery fire in Beirut. Haddad yesterday announced a 24-hour halt to his force's sporadic artillery shelling of the area occupied by Army troops. According to preliminary reports, Lebanese President arcis an Syrian For M' major agreements duringgtheir1dis i m 1 cuss ons on Thursday.
