Twelve MIG 15 jet fighters arrived.at the Lieske Airfield, near Weizow, on 28 September 1953. They are,:being; sheltered temporarily in tents. In August 1953, SAG Kirow in Leipzig manufactured eight captive balloon windlasse. for the Volkspolizei. !Six heavy winches are under construction for Soviet shipyards, of which three have already been delivered. 2. An order for six heavy-duty drop-frame cars was taken over from Mannesmann of Leipzig. Mannesmann could not deliver them in time because of various urgent Soviet orders. The cars were delivered to Brest-Litovsk . The cars are about 16 meters long. SAG Kirow could make delivery quickly because finished material for about 20C cars is onihand. These six cars were completed within 14 days. 3. Since the ,'first of August, drilling machinery has been delivered again for the Soviet -,il industry; 126 torts of drilling rods alone were delivered in August. They had been lying in warehouseslfor six months. Two generator rings (Kranze) were delivered to the Kirow works',in Moscow. 4. Two ore ;tars and a repair shop car with its own power station, which had come from Pcland in a damaged condition, were overhauled to be shown at the Leipzig Fair.
