The Rurn~?urian Workers' Party is the force which rui.dcs and lead. the peo-
ple on the road to socialism. It performs this test, successfully b?enure it
acts r~s a united collective, welded by unity oC will and action and by the
unity of discipline, and because it unyieldin_nly represses any deviation from
the party line or Ley lack of discipline or orgy^ization.
The Harty, true to Nu.~xist-Leninte.t. principles, sees to it that the prin-
ciple of collective work, the higfrest principle of party leadership, is strictly

systematic and rigct?ous control over every party and gover~;ent activist.
The Party is a freely accepted fighting ussociatioa of communist,, who
share the same ideas aad have united to mnke a reality a their grandiose aim
of building Communism. Tha is why, in the party, the right of decision be-
longs to tl.e mess of nei?t.y rnembers and g::rty leadership is colhctive, not a
one-man job.
Collective lendership flows logically from the principle of democratic
centralism iAa ch produces the correct L'lend of centralism and iron discipline,
with greet latitude for initiative and activity on the Hart of Communists.
The decision of the c'enum of the Central Committee concerning the im-
provement of party work and the strengthening; of the party's t'es with the
